Bailey Kenney, MASC Commissioner
Bailey Kenney is the newest member of the Midwest Alliance Soccer Conference staff serving as the MASC Commissioner. Bailey will be helping out the conference in a variety of roles this season. He is the Assistant Director of Intramural Sports at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has been a part of the Recreation and Wellbeing team since February of 2021.
Bailey has been involved with NIRSA soccer since his time as a graduate assistant at the University of Mississippi; his first volunteer opportunity was with the Operations Team at the 2018 National Tournament in Foley, Al. After attending that event, Bailey was hooked into the NIRSA club soccer scene. Since that time, Bailey has continued to stay involved by attending multiple Regional & National events, and he also serves on the NIRSA Soccer work team. Bailey is a Chelsea FC fan at heart, roots hard for the USWNT and loves to watch his sister Delaney, play for the Chicago State Cougars. In his free time, you will catch Bailey officiating women’s college basketball, playing pickleball, or hiking and exploring the mountains.
Eric Sztul, MASC Operating Director
Service to the MASC is nothing new to Eric Sztul, who is in his twenty-sixth year as a conference director. Eric began his association with intercollegiate club soccer during his playing and coaching days as an undergraduate student-athlete at Bowling Green State University from 1994-1998.
In 1997, he assumed the commissioner's title, replacing Steve Burns of the University of Michigan. That same school year Eric received his bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University, and began his career in education as a teacher and coach in Columbus, Ohio. In 2001, he stepped down as commissioner and held the assistant/associate commissioner position. During the 2019 season, he resumed the position as MASC Executive Director/Commissioner.
Today, besides leading the other board directors with league matters, and working on the league website; Eric assists clubs with issues that may arise during the both the season and off-season. He resides with his wife in the Columbus, Ohio metro area. In his free time he enjoys to golf, camp/hike, travel and cheer on Cleveland sports teams.
Elliott Miller, Director, Rules Committee Chair
Elliott Miller is joining the MASC for his third year as director but has been involved with collegiate club soccer since 2013. Elliott graduated from Purdue University in 2017 where he was heavily involved in club sports during his time there. After Purdue, he transitioned to an administrative role for the University of South Carolina's club sports program. From there, he recently finished his master's degree at Central Michigan University and served as a Graduate Assistant for club sports while also serving as the head coach for the men's and women's club programs. Elliott's responsibilities include assisting Eric and the rest of the MASC board on day-to-day operations and the execution of the President's Meeting and Midwest Alliance Cup.
Aside from collegiate club soccer, Elliott still plays competitively and enjoys coaching. He is actively pursing different coaching licenses and improving his coaching credentials. Elliott is an avid Liverpool F.C. supporter and has attended Anfield for a couple of matches.
Amy Ramras, Director, Assistant Rules Committee Chair
Amy was appointed as the NIRSA Region III Director in March of 2020. In 2022, she stepped down from the position and is now a director with the conference. Amy received her bachelor’s degree from Hamline University in 2017, and a master’s degree from Central Michigan University in 2019. She has been working in campus recreation and club sports since 2014. Soccer has always been a big part of her life, as a player starting at three years old, to playing collegiately. After wrapping up her playing career, Amy looks for ways to stay involved with soccer by coaching and working different camps.
Amy’s main responsibilities will be to assist in communication with clubs, co-chairing the MASC Rules Committee, and Midwest Alliance Cup logistics. She currently is working with the USL-Women's League and resides in the Tampa area. In her free time, she likes to play soccer and bake.
